Nexus Wallet is a browser extension for the Solana blockchain. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. Nexus Wallet operates entirely on your device.

• Private keys and seed phrases are encrypted and stored locally in your browser's storage. They never leave your device.
• No analytics or tracking — we do not use any analytics services, cookies, or tracking pixels.
• No account registration — no email, name, or personal information is required.

Network Requests

Nexus Wallet communicates with the following external services solely to provide wallet functionality:

• Solana RPC nodes (api.mainnet-beta.solana.com, api.devnet.solana.com) — to fetch balances, send transactions, and interact with the blockchain.
• Jupiter API (api.jup.ag, quote-api.jup.ag) — to fetch real-time token prices and swap quotes.
• CoinGecko API (api.coingecko.com) — to fetch market data, price history, and token information.
• Jupiter Token List (token.jup.ag) — to fetch the list of verified tokens for the swap feature.

These requests contain only public blockchain addresses and do not include any personal information.

Data Storage

• All wallet data (encrypted private keys, preferences, account names) is stored locally using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API.
• Data is never transmitted to our servers because we have no servers.
• Uninstalling the extension permanently deletes all stored data.

Security

• Private keys are encrypted with your password before storage.
• The wallet auto-locks after a configurable timeout period.
• All cryptographic operations happen locally on your device.

Third-Party Services

We do not share any data with third parties. The external APIs listed above are used in read-only mode to fetch public blockchain and market data.

Children's Privacy

Nexus Wallet is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
